Our owner and winemaker, Tamás Kovács — “Tom St. Donat” — is a true enthusiast of geology and local history.
Born and raised in a long-established Balaton family, he knows the story behind every stone and ruin around Csopak and Tihany.
If you ever meet him at a tasting or wine event, don’t be surprised if he brings along a few rocks or shares his own geological sketches.
Some of these drawings have even been printed on canvas or featured on our wine labels.
